Learn more at Discover more exclusive itineraries from Extraordinary Explorations at I MAGINE RIDING A CAMEL over sweeping sand dunes to a luxury camp in the Moroccan desert or, on the other side of the world, polar bear watching in Churchill, Manitoba. You can experience all this and more with CAA's Extraordinary Explorations, exclusively from CAA Travel. HANDS-ON EXCURSIONS Let CAA take care of the planning with carefully curated trips to top destinations in Canada and around the world. Since 1995, the CAA Group Travel team has been developing tour experiences that are immersive and one-of-a-kind. "No two tours are the same," says Karen Wigge, manager of Extraordinary Explorations. That's because each tour's excursions and experiences are unique to that departure date and may not be available again. As well, multiple tours to the same location are not generally offered. PERSONAL TOUCHES Part of what makes Extraordinary Explorations unique is that the CAA Group Travel team works with local suppliers. This means that your tour guide has first-hand knowledge and experience of the local culture. On select trips, you'll also have a CAA host who handles all the details, allowing you to take in the sights and the culture. Each itinerary is all-inclusive, with CAA taking care of everything from flights and hotel bookings to transfers at your destination and dinner reservations. All programs include return economy airfare from Toronto or Winnipeg, and as a CAA Member, you'll also earn CAA Dollars®. OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE Extraordinary Explorations offers four trip categories, including the Solo Collection, which is for individuals who enjoy group vacations with like-minded people. This category is a Member favourite, Wigge says, with many repeat clients who enjoy the camaraderie and company of others. While tours to international destinations are available, Wigge says that Canadian itineraries are currently popular with Members who still wish to travel but would feel safer staying within the country. Among the highlights are the Beluga Summer Safari, where Members will feel the spray of the water from Hudson Bay while searching for beluga whales, or seeing the northern lights in person on a trip to the Northwest Territories and Yukon. FLEXIBLE REFUND POLICY As we've all learned over the past year, travel restrictions are evolving, so CAA has a new cancellation policy for all 2022 Extraordinary Explorations trips. Deposits can be refunded up until time of final payment or Members can move their deposits to another existing 2022/2023 tour. And if a tour is cancelled by Extraordinary Explorations, your money will be fully refunded.
